After graduating from high school, I attended Bliss College in Columbus and received a degree in accounting.  I then joined the Marine Corps for two years, spending a year in Vietnam.  In 1970 I began working for USF&G Insurance Company as an auditor where I worked for 20 years.    In 1990 I left my job and entered a Catholic Seminary studying to be a priest.  After 3 years I left the seminary for a leave of absence, but did not return.  In 1993 I got a job with Roxane Laboratories in Columbus.  In 1994 I got married to a wonderful woman named Ann.  In 2004 I retired from my job at Roxane and Ann retired as a teacher in the Columbus Public School system after 35 years.  For recreation I continue to officiate fast pitch softball and high school soccer, something I have done for over 25 years.  We are both looking forward to a long happy retirement.
